As part of the fund raising campaign for the Lidl legal costs in the upcoming Enquiry, I will be launching an ‘auction of pledges’.
There may be a little trial and error initially so please bear with me! I plan to run this over several months with a few pledges on the go at any time so please keep pledging. I am also thinking of running an online auction for some high value pledges eg a pair of shoes from Brogue Trader up to the value of £400 - thank you Chris!!
If you can pledge something please contact me directly. Some suggestions:
Two hours ironing/cleaning/gardening
One to one Sports sessions eg football/rugby/swimming
Language lessons eg Welsh/Spanish/French
Craft lessons eg knitting/crochet/painting
Cooking a meal for two or baking
That kind of thing ! Please don’t be shy!!
I then need to figure out the best way for people to bid in order to win their chosen item(s) - initially maybe via Whatsapp or a dedicated Countryside Matters Facebook page
