Founded in 1949, Llanmaes W.I. currently has 36 members who meet in the Church Hall, Llanmaes from 7.30 to 10.30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month. At most meetings there is a Speaker who will
talk for 45 minutes and there is a wide range of subjects. This year so
far we have had a very interesting slide show and talk by a young
couple from the village who cycled across New Zealand. We have also had a slide show and talk about a Nepal wedding.
We also have a walk in the summer and a day out to a place of interest. Members are also involved in village activities. Visitors are very welcome, please contact Ruth Woolway on 01446 793327. |
