Founded in 1949, Llanmaes W.I. currently has 36 members who meet in the Church Hall, Llanmaes from 7.30 to 10.30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month.

At most meetings there is a Speaker who will talk for 45 minutes and there is a wide range of subjects. This year so far we have had a very interesting slide show and talk by a young couple from the village who cycled across New Zealand.

We also have a walk in the summer and a day out to a place of interest.

There are usually about 20 minutes W.I. business then refreshments and social topics.

Members are also involved in village activities.
