New Hall

The old school in Llanmaes is now better known as the Village Hall.  Nearly twenty years ago it was decided to make some improvements and take away the old stone steps and build a ramp  up to the building so as to provide wheelchair access.  A kitchen was also built and a new floor was laid.  It was then decided to pilot  a scheme whereby the building would be managed by representatives of both the Community Council and St Cattwg's Church Council.

A name was needed to reflect this joint management and so it was decided that the full name should be St Cattwg's Village Hall. This has proved most successful and the Joint Management Committee meets on a regular basis to pay the bills, execute repairs, organise bookings and continue to maintain (and improve) this valuable resource for the village.
Members of the Joint Management Committee are:-
